Priscilla Kay (Daughtery) Green, age 61, a resident of Hopemont Hospital, and previously of Manfield Addition, Philippi passed away at 12:30 pm on Friday September 19, 2025 with her husband at her side.  Death was following a period of declining health.  She was born May 1, 1964 in Philippi, a daughter of Edmond “Eddie” and Constance “Connie” (Spotloe) Daughtery.  Priscilla was united in marriage on October 9, 1982 to John Green, who survives at their home in Philippi.

She is also survived by her children Kristin Green and companion David Kincaid of Weston, John Green II and wife Anastasia of Philippi, and oldest grandchild Robert “Robbie” Parsons who she raised with her husband as their own; grandchildren Alexis and Dylan Parsons of Galloway, Faith and Caleb Green of Philippi; sisters and brothers-in-law Betty and Ernie Sisler of Philippi, Karen Upton of Fairmont, Shirley and John Manko of Ownings MD, Janet and Lynn Davis of Philippi, Judy and Bill Smith of Columbia, SC, and Mary Maxson of Volga; uncle Richard Spotloe of Philippi, aunt Joann Spotloe of Fairmont, along with several nieces and nephews.

Priscilla was a Philip Barbour High School graduate class of 1982.  She loved watching Dirty Dancing and spending time with her family and friends.  She loved watching dirt track races and NASCAR.  She made friends everywhere she went and never knew a stranger.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Connie Daughtery; sisters Gwen Daugherty and Diana (Purkey) Godwin; brother Craig Daughtery; grandparents Ed “Toots” and Sophia Spotloe; father and mother-in-law William  “Bill” and Lena (Nestor) Green; sisters and brothers-in-laws Terry (Green) Olay, Roger and Sharon(Green) Moats, William “Bill” Upton, and Phillip Knight Sr.

Family will receive friend at the Wright Funeral Home and on-site Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday September 24, from 3-8 pm, and on Thursday September 25, from 8 am- 2 pm.  Funeral services will begin at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bob Wilkins officiating.  Priscilla will be laid to rest at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
