Leta Mae (Linda) White Estep Stewart, 83, took her journey to be with Jesus on January 6, 2026.  She was born on June 22, 1942 in Elkins, West Virginia to parents Artennis and Ida Masel White.

 

She is survived by her sons David G Estep, Michael D Estep and grandson/adopted son Michael A Estep, her sister Alice F Wilkinson and several half-brothers and half-sisters, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by sons William E Estep and Daniel Estep, husbands William Estep and Harry (Sonny) Stewart and her brother Stoney White Sr.

 

She loved all but most of all she loved God and was happiest when teaching the love of God to children.

 

There will be no services scheduled at this time.  A graveside service will be held at a later date.

  1. I’ll forever miss you Miss Linda. You’ve raised my husband to be an amazing human being so I sincerely thank you for that. You taught him to be a Godly man and he is just that. You were a beautiful christian woman with an absolute heart of gold. Never knew a stranger either, you were always willing to help anyone who asked.. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for never judging me and always being there for me. We will miss you so so so so so much. We love you.
