Mary Jo Fink

Mary Jo Fink, age 93, a resident of Tacy Community, Philippi, WV, went to be with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Thursday, September 10, 2026, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.  She was surrounded by her loving family members.

Mary was born April 30, 1933, in Clarksburg, WV to Anthony Daniel and Ella Tillie Marks.

She was united in marriage for 59 years to Donald M. Fink on June 30, 1950, who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Donna Jo Walker and Marianne Lambert, and one grandson, Robert Scott Lambert, Jr.

She is survived by two daughters, Bobbi K. Quattro and husband Bob of Davis, WV and Kris M. Jones and husband Rob of Philippi, WV.  She is also survived by three sons, David M. Fink and wife Beverly of Martinsburg, WV, Daniel M. Fink and wife Susan of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, and Paul C. Fink and Cathy Martin of Davis, WV.

She was blessed with 20 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren left to cherish her memory.

She loved the Lord first and foremost, and she loved her family with all her heart.

She enjoyed walking, reading, playing scrabble, doing Crossword Puzzles and spending time with her family.

The family would like to thank WV Caring, especially nurse Jackie, Ashley and Amber, and a very special and heartfelt thank you to Shana Fink for all of her love, care and support for our beloved Mama. There will be a celebration of life planned for Mary in the summer of 2027.

She was cherished and loved by her entire family, but her great grandson Beau Anthony Fink said it best when he stated that, “No one can ever replace Mama.”
