Linda Kines

Linda Lou Kines, age 72, a resident of Philippi passed away Wednesday February 16, 2017 at her residence. She was born February 23, 1944 in Barbour Co. a daughter of the late Marvin and Madeline (Boyles) Howell. Linda was united in marriage on June 29, 1963 to James Kines who survives at home. Also surviving Son, Jim Kines and wife Whitni of Philippi Son-in-law, Jaun Richards of Moon Township, PA Sisters, Carol Porter and husband Ron of Mt. Clare Janet Straughan of Philippi Jo Ellen Cleavenger of Clarksburg Pam Booth of Philippi Grandsons, Parker Kines of Philippi, and Chase Richards of Moon Township, PA Linda was preceded in death by daughter, Lisa Richards, and grandparents, Gee and Buna Boyles. Linda was a homemaker and a Baptist by Faith. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday February 22, from 5-8 pm and on Thursday February 23, from 8 am- 1 pm the service hour with Rev. Kenny Kendall officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
