Robert Lynn Weaver, age 68 a resident of Lake Side Dr., Horner passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at his residence under the care of People’s Hospice. He was born July 20, 1947 in Barbour County, a son of the late Teddy Aldon Weaver and Thelma Emma (Weaver) Weaver. He was united in marriage on December 23, 1992 to Sue Ann (Wentz) Weaver.
Surviving are-
Three daughters, Karen Ann Clifton (Bobby), Robin Denice Humphreys (Kurt) and Kimberly Dawn Seech (Jake) all of Philippi and one stepdaughter, Rebecca Sue Wolfe of Montrose, WV.
The former wife, Nancy Stewart.
Eight grandchildren, namely Ashley & Tyler Clifton, Kurtis, Kobe, Kaden and Konnor Humphreys and Hunter & Garret Seech, two step grandsons, Gavin & Dylan Wolfe also Tyler Wentz a nephew whom he considered a grandson.
He was preceded in death by one stepson, Jackie Lynn Weaver, Jr. and two brothers David W. Weaver and Paul Edward Weaver.
Mr. Weaver worked as a coal miner, electrician, welder and shift foreman for Mingo Logan Coal Company.
Mr. Weaver also served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of VFW Post #410, Belington, American Legion Post #4, Weston and Vietnam Veterans.
He served as a member of the Barbour County Board of Education from 1986-1992. He also coached Pop Warner Football for many years.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St., Philippi on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 5-8 pm and on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 8:00 am-1:00 pm the service hour with Pastor Jay Burkhart officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Cemetery of the Hall Community with full military rites conducted by the Lewis County Honor Guard.

Just wanted to send the family a note to say how special Bob was to Steve and I. We looked forward to seeing him And Sue in Florida. We can say we had so many good times and laughs as we played cards and visited with Dottie & Junior. Thank the good Lord they introduced us. Good times to be remembered.
