William Alexander Phillips

William Alexander Phillips, age 81, a resident of Philippi passed away unexpectedly Saturday August 22, 2020 at his residence. William was born June 22, 1939 in Barbour Co. a son of the late Lonnie and Thelma (Cruikshank) Phillips. Surviving is- Sons, Rickey Phillips and wife Jayme of Belington Timothy Bill Phillips of Belington Brother, Dale Phillips of Moatsville William was preceded in death by brother, Jessie Phillips. He retired from Barbour County Schools as a bus driver. He was an avid hunter and loved riding his side by side. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday August 28, from 6-8 pm and on Saturday August 29, from 8 am- 12pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 pm with Rev. Jim Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in the White Oak Cemetery.
