Life Legacy Clifford Noble True, age 30, a resident of Laurel Creek Rd. Moatsville passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday September 2, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born Feb 5, 1984 in Morgantown, WV a son of Robert L. True Jr. and Kathryn A. (Rock) True. Also surviving One sister; Candice L. Stone and husband Jeffery of Philippi Nephews; Mitchell L. Stone and Clayton B. Stone Paternal grandparents; Robert L. True Sr. and wife Patricia M. of Philippi Companion; Lindsi Harper of Doddridge Co. Uncles; Tim Rock and wife Cindy of Buckhannon Bill Cleveland and wife Linda of TN Aunt; Mary Linda Rock of Koppel, PA Cousins; Jared, Jason, Justin Rock John, Paul, Kevin Cleveland Clifford was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Beulah D. Rock and Joseph Thomas Rock, Sr., and uncle Joseph Thomas Rock Jr. Clifford was coal miner having worked as Whitetail Mines, Sentinel Mines, and Dana Mines Prime # 1, he also worked at Kines Motor as a mechanic, and was a handyman. Clifford enjoyed farming, fishing, and hunting; he was a Methodist by faith. Clifford’s request for cremation will be honored. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday September 6, from 5-8 pm and on Sunday from 12- 2 pm. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm with Rev. Tim Bleigh officiating.

We r so saddened about the loss of your loved one, he was one remarkable young man, he always had a beautiful smile on his face when we seen him, he came to our church one sunday with Cody Philipps, he gave me a big hug, and shook Toms hand, we were so glad to see him there, we will always remember the days in scouting with his parents, he was a good litle boy, and a good cub scout, we will b praying for u for God to comfort u in the days, weeks, and months ahead, we know that we r weaping here on earth, but Cliff is rejoicing in heaven with God, so may God give u peace, courage, and strength in the days to come, we love u all, and for his grandparents, Buck and Pat, we love them, and they will always b so dear to us, we were blessed to have good neighbors when we lived in Philippi, and we do so miss them, so God Bless u all.

  9. I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR THAT CLIFFORD HAS PASSED. HE WAS A GOOD FRIEND OF MY LATE SON JUSTIN WHEN THEY WERE GROWING UP. WHEN JUSTING PASSED, CLIFFORD WAS A GREAT COMFORT TO ME AND TO JUSTIN'S BROTHERS. THERE IS A GREAT CELEBRATION AND REUNION IN HEAVEN…GOD BLESS HIS FAMILY

  15. I'm already missing you more than you could ever know. You were a good guy and a great friend. I'll always wish we would've had a chance to take that horseback ride we always talked about taking.

  16. I am so sorry to hear of Cliff's passing. He was a friend that I didn't get to talk to often, but when I did, it was a good talk. He was always happy go lucky and had a smile on his face when he was around and was a great individual. He will be greatly missed.

  22. So Sorry to hear of Clifford passing. We worked with him at carter roag mine in Randolph Co years ago. We have spoke of clifford and bob often. We will always remember those days with a laugh and a smile!
