Max Garfield Harris age 65 a resident of Philippi passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 in the WV Caring Facility in Elkins. He was born July 17, 1956 in Buckhannon, WV a son of the late Brad Harris and Judy (Sandy) Harris who survives in Philippi. He was united in marriage on November 5, 1993 to Pamela Sue (Huddleston) Harris who survives at home. Also surviving are-
Four Daughters, Brandy Lynn Harris McDaniels and husband Randy of Weston
Rebecca Marsh of Philippi
Teri Andrick of Philippi
Laura Nicole Dewitt and husband Mike of NC
One sister, Diane Martin and husband Rick of Philippi
Two Brothers, Bradley Kem Harris and wife Candice of Philippi
Don E. Harris and wife Susan of Philippi
One grandchild, Harper and Briley McDaniels
Step grandchildren, Dylan and Peyton Dewitt
Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his father, and one son, Michael Gene Andrick
He was a truck driver for AESOP Trucking, enjoyed working on older vehicles, loved watching TV and was a NASCAR Fan.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 2:30-6:00pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 6 pm. Max’s request for cremation will be honored and will follow the services.
