Marcus A. Fagons, age 26, a resident of Moatsville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday August 15, 2019 at his residence. Marcus was born June 28, 1993 in Harrison County, a son of Ronnie Fagons and Cherokee (Mayle) Phillips of Philippi. Marcus was united in marriage. Surviving is daughters,

Marcus was preceded in death by grandparents, Sharon and Johnny Mayle, David Collins, Boyd and Michelle Mayle, great grandfather, Cletus Mayle
Marcus worked at the Tygart Valley Regional Jail as a correctional officer II. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his 4-wheeler, he enjoyed spending time with his daughters, family and friends. Marcus attended the People’s Chapel Church.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday August 22, from 6-8 pm, on Friday August 23, from 8am- 8 pm, and on Saturday August 24, from 8 am- 1 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm with Rev. Ruston Seaman and Speaker William “Bill” Berdine officiating. Interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery.







Marcus, you always knew how to make someone smile, always lit up a room. We'll forever miss you bud! RIP. We all love you.
Aaron I’m so sorry to hear this about your brother. When I heard last name I was praying it wasn’t you then heard it was your brother! Thoughts and prayers for you and the all family! Such a senseless death have to go this way. Lean on God to comfort, give you strength and peace during this very difficult time.
