Connie Bucklew

Connie (Poe Pride) Bucklew age 42 a resident of Reynoldsville, WV passed away unexpectedly Tuesday July 7, 2009 at her residence. She was born September 13, 1966 in Fairmont, WV a daughter of Curt and Betty (Revelle) Poe who survive at Clemtown. She was united in marriage October 6, 2001 to Scott Bucklew who survives at Reynoldsville, WV. Also surviving is, One daughter, Casey and husband JD Bennett of Clarksburg One son, Stephen Pride of Reynoldsville, WV One brother, Michael Poe of Clarksburg One Grandson, Joey Bennett of Clarksburg Mrs. Bucklew was a homemaker, and a member of the Pleasant Creek CEOS, she enjoyed cooking and reading. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday July 10, from 5-8:00 p.m. and on Saturday July 11, from 8-11:00 a.m. the service hour with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in the Clemtown Cemetery.

  1. Curtis and Family, I haven't been around Clemtown since Mom and Dad passed on but, I am so sorry to hear that your daughter has died. It never seems right when our children go first. May God grant you peace and many happy memories.

  2. It is always hard to believe when someone so young passes away. I know that Connie loved her family and will be truely missed by them as well as all of her many friends. Their are no words to express how any one feels at this time because we are all so shocked. May God bless your hearts at this time of such sorrow

  4. While our paths may have crossed briefly and with some differences, no one can ever deny you were the most loving and supportive mother a child could ever have. And, as sudden and as shocking your passing has been, perhaps it can renew life and meaning for many others. May God be with you now for eternity and keep watch over those you've left behind.

My deepest sympathy to all the family, I am so very sorry that we were in florida with shala when we got the news and was unable to attend the services but please remember you were all in our hearts and prayers. I had just spoken to connie the week prior and she was just as jolly as ever, connie was a special aunt to me & mike's daughter shala and she will never be forgotten!! The whole family are wonderful people and we love you all.
