Loverine England, age 83, a resident of Pensacola, Fl and a former resident of Philippi, passed away Monday June 8, 2009 in the Hospice Care Home in Pensacola, FL. She was born July 25, 1925 in Philippi a daughter of the late Emma Swick. Loverine was twice married first on February 25, 1944 to her husband of 52 years Robert E. England who preceded her in death April 26, 1996 second to Roderick Murphy who survives. Also surviving is;
One daughter: Sherri and husband Larry Sapp of Belmont, WV
One granddaughter Emily Sapp of Washington, DC
Loverine retired as a bank teller for the First National Bank of Philippi, she was a member of the Philippi United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday June 11, from 5-8:00 p.m. and on Friday June 12, from 8:00 a.m. -2:00 p..m. the service hour with Rev.
