Patricia Latham

Patricia Ann Latham, age 71, a resident of Rt. 1 Philippi and a former resident of Oxon Hill, MD, passed away Sunday June 5, 2011 at her residence. She was born January 2, 1940 in Washington, DC a daughter of the late Louis C. and Lillian M. (Scott) Havenner. She was united in marriage on April 26, 1958 to Lucius Gibson Latham who survives. Also surviving are five children Stephen L. Latham and wife Sandy of Lothian, MD Vickie Ann Smith of Indian Head, MD Rebecca Lynn Booth and husband Jackie of La Plata, MD Judith Kate Wathen and husband Bernard of Waldorf, MD Mark G. Latham and wife Karen of Chesapeake, VA Three sisters and one brother Shirley Taylor and husband Karl of Waldorf, MD Janice Ferrara and husband Joe of Dunkirk, MD Michael Havenner and wife Deanna of White Plains, MD Cathy Downing and husband John of Indian Head, MD 11 grandchildren: Brandi Latham, Robert "Bobby" and Justin Smith, Heather Moran, Shelby Booth, Mollie, Sara, Matthew Wathen, Katy, Gibson, and James Latham. Mrs. Latham retired as a secretary for Oxon Hill Auto Center. She loved to do Crafts, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Accokeek, MD Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi, WV on Wednesday June 8, from 6-8 pm and on Thursday June 9, from 8-10 am. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in the WV National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
