Danny Carl Holbert, age 54, a resident of Mt. Liberty Community Philippi passed away Sunday March 26, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 1, 1962 in Philippi a son of the late Earl Duane and Donna Louise (Wiles) Holbert. He was united in marriage on April 4, 1991 to Angela (Davis) Holbert who survives at home. Daughter, LaDonna Irene Nash of Mill Creek
Son, Danny James Holbert and fiancé, Alexandria Becker of Philippi
Brother, Lesley W. Holbert and wife Mary of Merritt, Michigan
Grandchildren, Mason John Holbert, and Abigail Grace Taylor
Danny was preceded in death by two brothers, William Billy Holbert and Denny E. Holbert.
Danny worked as a carpenter for Bailey Construction. He was an avid sportsman, and loved hunting, fishing, and trapping.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday March 29, from 6-8 pm. and on Thursday March 30, from 8 am- 4 pm the service hour with Pastor Downing Gregory officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Liberty Cemetery.
