Kaydence AnnMarie Sandy-Church age 4 a resident of Rt. 2 Philippi passed away October 17, 2010 at the home of her father. She was born April 24, 2006 in Clarksburg, WV a daughter of Kelli R. Church and Step-Father, Bryan "Daddy Frey" Frey and Joseph A. and Step-Mother, Erica Sandy. Also surviving:

Kaydence attended the Philippi Head start. She loved school and absolutely adored her friends and teachers (Ms. Monique & Ms. Brittany). School was a place where she could let go and just be herself. Kaydence was a very smart girl for her age. She could count to 12; sing all her ABC’s knew all her colors, shapes, and sizes, etc... She was definitely a beautiful, gifted little angel.
Kaydence loved to dance and sing. She loved to color. She just adored all her family and friends.She loved to go for long walks, and just being outside. She loved to wear her hair down and feel like a princess. Kaydence had a great love for books and learning. She loved just everything and everybody. She was full of love. Oh and for the people, that knew her well, you cannot forget how funny she was. How she could brighten anyone’s day with just a flutter of those long magnificent eyelashes of hers. Kaydence you will NEVER be forgotten. We all love you
From Mommy: You were my sunshine, my light, and my life. You lifted me up in my times of sorrow, and kept me strong in my times of weakness. You were always my number 1. Mommy misses you so much more than I can even explain. Words cannot express the love I had and still have for you. You were always my little angel and now you really are one.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday October 30, from 12-6 p.m. and on Sunday October 31, 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. the service hour with Pastor Jesse Mesa officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.

IWe did not know this little girl, but can not even imagine what a loss it has to be for all of you. We will continue to keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers, may God bless all of you always. Deep from our hearts come our sympathies and prayers for you and your family. It is hard to even imagine what you are going through and will continue to go through. We know in our hearts and souls that Kaydence is sitting on Jesus's lap right now saying a prayer for her mommy and daddy and asking Jesus to give them a hug and let them know that she is okay. Everyday her and Jesus go for walks in the woods and play down by the river. She gets to fly through the clouds with her angels and every night Jesus will hold her tight and tell her a bedtime story and sing the most beautiful bedtime song. She lays down her head on his shoulder and he will hold her till she falls asleep as her kisses her on the forehead and tells her how much he loves her and her mommy and daddy.
Joey and Erika – our thoughts and prayers have been with you both. Very sorry that you all are going through this! We love you and we are here when you need us!

Kaydence was a beautiful little girl. She was funny. and i will always remember her, my best wishes for her family.

I remember you from Mrs. Shannon's class in HS…I am so very sorry for your loss. So hard to understand the death of a child, but she is an Angel in Heaven now…I will pray for you and your family.

I am really sorry of the lost, If there is anything I can do for you let me know. I am Nicki's mom. if you need to talk or what ever you know where I live at. my prayers goes out to you and the family, I cant even start to think what its like to lose a baby. now she is in heaven and a pretty little Angel. Just remember I am always here if you need to talk. I know it has to be so hard on you and your family. I am so sorry, I mean if you just need to talk stop by my house ok? everyone needs someone at a time like this to talk to. I will help you in anyways I can. and I am sure Nicki will to.
