Pap, we couldn't have asked for better grandparents to our boys, Thomas and Jesse, than you and Granny Sue! The love and attention that you gave to them, as you did to Devin, and Chloe and Gabby, will always be a cherished memory for them. I only wish that you both would have had that chance with Connor. I am proud to have had you Tom, and Sue as my “second parents”. Thank you for giving me Bruce! Now you and Sue can be together, pain free, in the arms of the angels. All my love, Laurie

I worked with Tom (Rooster) down at the box shop – PCA.I had the pleasure of working beside of him in the maintenance dept also.He was a quiet man until you were on a subject that he enjoyed and we had two in common which were coins and hot rods.I sold him my yellow T bucket which we had been talking about it and he said he wanted it and i told him to make me an offer and we talked for days about it and finally one day he came to me and made me an offer and i told him i would take it.I think that he didnt think i would take it because his eyes got kind of big and i actually saw him kind of surprised but i needed the money and he needed a new toy, lol.I remember driving it up to philippi how it was going to a good home and the things he said he was gonna do already.I can remember days sitting out on the bench and upstairs in our office and talking coins all day.He taught me so much about them.I was hoping to show him my collection now as that is all i do now but he was a huge part in me collecting coins and why i still do it today. It is my passion and it is mostly because of him.I can honestly say he had more hotrod smarts than any person i have ever met.REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND…
Tommy and Sue were great neighbors. At one time they lived across the road from us. I remember seeing Deloris rocking Nancy in a rocking chair on the front porch. We had the best neighbors at that time and when someone needed a helping hand the other was there to help. Great neighbors, great friends. Blessings to the Austin family.
