Irene Digman

Irene Frances Digman, age 75, a resident of River Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clarksburg, and a former resident of Chestnut St. Philippi, passed away Saturday October 22, 2016. She was born November 4, 1940 in Galloway, WV a daughter of the late John and Agnes “Peg” (Hall) Gerard. Surviving is Two daughters, Peggy Jean Johnson and husband Bobby of Stonewood Stephanie Burner of Philippi Five grandchildren, LeAnn Quinn of Clarksburg, Christopher, Casey, Brayden and Ashton Burner all of Philippi Four Great Grandchildren, Bryleigh Burner of Fairmont, Thea Quinn of Clarksburg, Scarlet and Hazel Simmons of Belington Brother-in-law, Charles Jones of Warren, OH Two nephews, David and Michael Jones of Warren, OH Ms. Digman was preceded in death by one sister Mary Jean Jones, she was a homemaker. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday October 24, from 5-8 pm and on Tuesday October 25, from 8 am- 1 pm the service hour with Rev. Kenny Kendall officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
