Kenneth Lee Wolfe, age 67, a resident of Gall St. Philippi passed away Wednesday January 2, 2013 in Broaddus Hospital following an extended illness. He was born October 22, 1945 in Philippi a son of the late Dorsey and Carrie (McVicker) Wolfe. He was united in marriage December 31, 1982 to Anna M. (Dean) Wolfe who survives. Also surviving

Two stepdaughters, Ronda Queen and companion Danny Chewning of Buckhannon

Four brothers, Delmer Wolfe and wife Vena of Philippi
Dorsey Wolfe and wife Sue of Belington
Barry Wolfe and wife Kathy of Philippi
Mike Wolfe and wife Debbie of Belington
Three grandsons, Blayton Stump of Stonewood, Andreas Antoneli, and Nicholas Queen both of Philippi
Three granddaughters, Nicol Coontz of Philippi, Danyale Chewning of Buckhannon, Caroline Queen of Stonewood
One great granddaughter, Patience Coontz of Philippi
He was preceded in death by one sister, Sandy (Wolfe) Moats, one brother, David Wolfe.
Mr. Wolfe served in the US Army from 1965-1967 during the Vietnam Conflict and was ranked SP/4 artillery. He was a former employee of Poling Trucking for almost 20 years. He was also a member of the Local Union # 1938 District #31.
Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday January 3, from 5-8 pm and on Friday January 4, from 8- 11 am the service hour with Rev. Carroll G. Dean Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery with military honours being accorded.
