Mary Alice McLean age 73 a resident of Norris Ridge Rd. Philippi passed away on Wednesday, March 02, 2022 in Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born August 26, 1948 in Philippi a daughter of the late William Paul and Betty Lucille (Marsh) Proudfoot. She was united in marriage May 20, 1967 to Ron C. McLean who survives. Also surviving-
One brother, William R. Proudfoot and wife Kathy of Dillsburg, PA
Mary Alice was a member of Jerusalem United Methodist Church, Philippi Lions Club, and the Barbour County Homemakers.
She retired after 45+years as Vice President of Premier Bank, enjoyed tending to her flowers and working in the yard. Mary Alice’s request for cremation was honored
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 9am-2pm. A celebration service will be held at 2 pm with Pastor Sam Haught and Pastor Lester Lind officiating. Inurnment will follow in Mary’s Chapel Cemetery. . Ronald and Willy Ray…I loved Mary Alice like a sister. She and I go way back to when we both lived in Buckhannon. Oh, the memories! I know that we'll be reunited one day SOON, in Heaven.
