Martha Irene Andrick, age 94, a resident of Strickler St. Philippi passed away Sunday April 4, 2010 in Mansfield Place of Broaddus Hospital. She was born June 28, 1915 in Barbour Co. a daughter of the late Davis Guy and Effie (Winans) Burner. Martha was united in marriage July 28, 1933 to Andrew Andrick who preceded her in death January 7, 2000. Surviving are:
Three daughters: Jean Ruth, of Philippi
Edith Trader and husband Andrew, of Gas City, IN
Gladolene Martin and husband Ronald, of Philippi
Two sons: Clayton Guy Andrick and wife Shirley, of Marion, IN
Roger Lee Andrick and wife Kathy, of Kokomo, IN
21 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 24 great- great grandchildren
Martha was preceded in death by one daughter: Carolyn Ann Hotsinpiller, two brothers, and three sisters.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Union Church of Christ.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday April 6, from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday April 7, from 8-11 a.m. the service hour. Interment will follow in the Barbour Memorial Cemetery.
