Rebekah Ann Burner age 61 a resident of Rt. 1 Union Community Philippi passed away Friday May 8, 2009 at her residence. She was born February 12, 1948 in Philippi a daughter of the late Arnett Ewin "P-Nut" and Virginia (Casto) Baughman. She was formerly married to Gary Burner who survives of Union Community, Philippi. Also surviving
One son; Dennis and wife Kimberly Burner of Philippi
One brother; Gerald Anthony and wife Norma Baughman of Fairfax, VA
Two grandchildren; Christopher Gene and Dennis John Burner both of Philippi.
Ms. Burner was preceded in death by one brother; James Arnett Baughman.
Ms. Burner had worked at Alderson-Broaddus College in the bookstore, and copy center, she was President of the Central Barbour Water Board, a member of the Arktaean Club and the Crim Memorial United Methodist Church.
Ms. Burner enjoyed needle point and crocheting
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday May 11 from 5-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday May 12, from 8-11:00 a.m. the service hour with Rev.
