Gwendolyn Daugherty, age 55, a resident of Mansfield Place at Broaddus Hospital passed away Wednesday July 8, 2015. She was born December 28, 1960 in Upshur Co. a daughter of the late Edmund and Constance (Spotloe) Daugherty. Surviving is
One son; Robert Cleavenger of Philippi
One sister; Priscilla Green and husband John of Philippi
Gwen was preceded in death by one brother Craig Daugherty
Gwen worked as a teacher for Barbour County Schools, she enjoyed shopping, traveling and going to the beach. Gwen attended the Haven of Hope Church.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday July 11, from 9 am- 1 pm the service hour with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.

So sorry for the loss of your loved one, she was a special lady, so sorry she had been so sick and suffering for so long, so she is ready for heaven, and i know that is where she is now, no more suffering, may the Lord bless u and your family always.
