Robert Skidmore
December 29, 1964 ~ April 6, 2011
Robert Keith Skidmore, age 46, a resident of Rt. 2 Philippi passed away Wednesday April 6, 2011 in Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born December 29, 1964 in Painesville, OH a son of Tom and Ricki (Gall) Skidmore who survive. Also surviving:
One daughter: Angel Skidmore of Fairport Harbor, OH
Three brothers: David Skidmore and wife Christine of Concord Township, OH
Gary Skidmore and wife Jean of Jefferson, OH
Kelley Skidmore of Milford, OH
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Brooks and Marie Gall, and Nestor Lee and Gladys Skidmore. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday April 8, from 6-8 pm and on Saturday April 9, from 12-2 pm the service hour. Mr. Skidmore request for cremation will be honored and will follow the service on Saturday.

Rob had a heart of gold and a dear friend who Hunted and Fish around Ohio and beyond. Your family showed me love other dream about and I cherish those memories. He found peace next to a pond with a fishing rod.

Mr. and Mrs. Skidmore, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I loved Robert as I would a brother. Though it has been many years, and Robert's and my paths branched in opposing directions, I cannot help but join you in your sorrow. I wish I could have done more back then to assist him in his struggles. I must admit that my heart is heavy with each passing of those that graced my life, Robert included. I just learned of Robs passing 02-18-2012.
To a best friend growing up and to the memories we will always have. From the Thanksgiving weeks in the hills and woods of WV deer hunting to the trips and boating fishing adventures in Canada. To the days of AL,Dave,bill,John and Mary.. I will miss you and love you ROB my friend,Wish we wood stayed if touch more Sorry!!!.. Your friend always in life or death..
