Jessica Dawn Shaw, age 24, a resident of Rt. 2 Philippi passed unexpectedly at her residence. She was born September 26, 1986 in Philippi a daughter of the late Thomas Shaw and Terri (Ketchem) Shaw-Jones and Step-father Daniel W. Jones who survive. Also surviving is,
One son: Skylar Thomas Newman of Philippi
Two sisters: Christina Wagner and husband Christopher of Weston
Amy Kittle and husband Scott of Philippi
Paternal Grandmother: Jessie Shaw of Philippi
Maternal Grandmother: Darlene Moats of Philippi
Maternal Grandfather: Ronald Ketchem and wife Brenda of Philippi
Two nieces: Sierra Kittle of Philippi, MacKenzie Kittle of Belington
Four nephews: William Oliver Wagner of Weston, Preston and Clay Wolfe of Philippi, and Caleb Kittle of Belington.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Donald Shaw.
Ms. Shaw worked as a waitress at McDonald's in Grafton
She liked horses and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
She attended Silent Grove Church.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday, November 12, 2010 from 8:00 a.m.- 2 p.m. the service hour with Pastor Bryan Headley and Pastor Shirley Webster officiating. Interment will follow in the Shaw Family Cemetery.

We cannot believe that Jess is really gone,we had so much fun in school together,she had such an awesome personality and sense of humor,she will def. be missed by all who enjoyed her,may god be with her and her family through this tough time.
