Ashley Tasker

Ashley Nicole (Moore) Tasker, age 19, a resident of Rt. 2 Philippi passed away unexpectedly Monday May 17, 2010 in the Broaddus Hospital Emergency Room. She was born February 7, 1991 in Elkins a daughter of Larry Eugene and Doris Darlene (Shine) Moore. She was united in marriage April 19, 2008 to Andrew John Tasker who survives. Also surviving is; One son: Evan Matthew Tasker who resides at home One brother: John Joseph "Joey" and wife Kim Shine of Independence, WV Two nephews: John Joseph Shine Jr., and Nichelous Shine One niece: Donaida J. Tasker Father and Mother-in-law: Paul and Donna Tasker of Terra Alta, WV Grandparents; George William Shine Sr. and the late Mildred (Golden) Shine of Independence, WV, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Moore of Philippi, and several aunts and uncles. Ashley was preceded in death by: Great Grandparents: Hazel and Buck Strawermen, Elva Shine, and Great Great Grandparents: Lewie and Vade Golden. Ashley loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed being with her son. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday May 20, from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday May 21, from 8 a.m.- 8 p.m. and on Saturday May 22, from 8 a.m. -1 p.m. the service hour with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in the Marsh Cemetery at Tacy.
