Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Vangie was my Mother in Law, Sue Austin's room mate for several years at Mansfield Place. She always looked out for Sue since Sue wasn't able to get around. Vangie was a sweet soul!! She was very particular, as to how her bed was made, and her many stuffed animals and dolls that she was fond of and kept by her as she slept. I was an aide there for a year, and she kept me on my toes..God Bless you Vangie!!!♥♥

  2. I have so many great memories of growing up next door to the Shaffer’s on Locust Ave. They adopted me as one of their own. Vangie loved Christmas and shopping for Christmas presents. This was always a special time for her . She was so excited to come to the house on Christmas morning to see our gifts. Even after she moved to Mansfield Place she continued to send gifts down to the house. It was always nice to know that she still remembered us. Rest In Peace Vangie.
