Charles Peters

Charles Calvin Peters, age 58, a resident of Rt. 1 Flemington, passed away Saturday August 29, 2009 at his residence. He was born April 28, 1951 in Berryburg, a son of late Calvin R. and Blanche (Bartlett) Peters. Surviving is; One Sister; Betty and husband James Jenkins of Flemington One Brother; Frankie Lee Peters of PA Several nieces and nephews Mr. Peters was preceded in death by three sisters; Alice Poling, Mary Delores Parks, Mary Ann Peters, one half-sister; Virginia Sapp, one half-brother; John Curtis Parks. Mr. Peters worked for Cheyenne Sales Coal Company as a car dropper. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in the yard. He was a Pentecostal by faith. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday August 31 from 3-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday September 1, from 8:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. the service hour with Rev. W.F. Boylen officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
