Margie K. Cunningham age 84 a resident of First Street, Junior and a former resident of 212 Chestnut St. passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at the residence of her daughter, Mary Whetzel in Junior. She was born May 7, 1928 in Barbour Co. a daughter of the late Marshal and Myrtle (Fridley) Henry. She was twice married, first to Ira White and then to Bob Cunningham who preceded her in death. Surviving are:
Three daughters, Sue Vose of Philippi
Mary Whetzel and husband Bob of Junior
Debra Schimansky and husband Steve of Flemington
One sister, Hazel Henry of Philippi
Seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by one son, Johnny White; one grandchild, Jamie Redmon
Ms. Cunningham retired as a Nurses' Aid from Broaddus Hospital.
She attended Philippi Church of Christ
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday, May 31 from 6-8 pm and on Friday, June 1, from 8 am - 2 pm the service hour with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Mary & family, so sorry about the loss of your Momma, she was a great lady, remembered her so well when she worked at the hospital, she was good 2 every patient there, she will always b remembered by her good works there.
