Mary Bolyard

February 24, 1944 ~ February 2, 2010

Mary Elizabeth Bolyard, age 65, a resident of Rt. 4 Philippi 4-H Rd. passed away Tuesday February 2, 2010 at Broaddus Hospital. She was born February 24, 1944 in Barbour Co. a daughter of the late Arley and Dosha Lavada (Newman) Kennedy. She was united in marriage on July 15, 2000 to William Randall Bolyard who survives. Also surviving are; Two daughters; Kathy Jean Mayle and husband Jay of Philippi Pamela Marie Cunningham and husband Christopher Lynn of Belington One son; Jimmy Dale Croston of Rt. 2 Philippi Grandchildren; Matthew Mayle and fiancé Jeannie Rivera, Holey Norris, Dustin Croston, Latasha Mayle and husband Matthew Jones, Angela Phillips and husband Shawn, Lee Carpenter, Jacob Mayle, Joshua Mayle, Jaylin Mayle, Jedediah James Cunningham, Adopted grandchildren; Kenny Dotson, Zackary Dotson, and Linda Dotson Great grandchildren; Mason Jones, and Mckenzie Phillips Former Husband, Delmus Croston Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family, she was also preceded in death by two former husbands Eddie Phillips, and Jim Everhart. Mary worked for the Department of Health and Human Resources for 23 years as a Adult service worker. She loved cooking, gardening, caring for her flowers, fishing, and especially her family. Mary attended the Grace Temple Apostolic Church and loved Jesus with all her heart and was a devout Christian. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday February 5, from 5-8 p.m. and on Saturday February 6, from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. and on Sunday February 7, from 8 a.m. -2 p.m. the service hour with Doug Bolyard and Rev. Jay Mayle officiating. Interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery. Sunday February 7, 2010, 2 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home Click for Map and Directions
