Audrey Marsh

Audrey Geraldine (Auvil) Marsh, age 80, a resident of Serpell, Ave Belington passed away Thursday August 25, 2011 in Davis Memorial Hospital. She was born March 13, 1931 in Tucker Co. a daughter of the late William Wayne and Virginia Ruth (Nestor) Auvil. Surviving are: Three daughters: Vivian Louise Marsh of Belington Judy Boylen of Philippi Melinda Strait and husband David of Philippi Two sons: Wilford Marsh Jr. and wife Eleanor of Philippi Thomas Marsh of Parsons Four sisters: Willidene Godwin of Florida Phyllis Barkley and husband Larry of Morgantown Roberta Gidson and husband Howard Joretta Endrizzi and husband Francis both of North Carolina One brother: Encil Auvil and wife Helen of Philippi Eight grandchildren, Five great grandchildren Audrey was a homemaker, she enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was active with the activities at Baughman Towers, and enjoyed the fellowship at the Barbour County Senior Center. Audrey was a member of the Silent Grove Church. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday August 27, from 5-8 pm and on Sunday August 28, from 8 am -2 pm the service hour with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope Valley Cemetery.

We r so sorry 2 hear about the loss of Geraldine, I got 2 know her at Silent Grove Church, she was a sweet heart, she was always willing 2 fix food 4 our dinners, and we would talk on the phone a lot, and I really enjoyed that, God bless each and everyone of u, u lost a wonderful woman, but I know she is now with the Lord Jesus Christ,
