Frances L. Jones

Frances L. Jones, age 68, a resident of Philippi passed away on Monday March 19, 2018 at her residence. Frances was born November 16, 1949, in Barbour Co. a daughter of the late Richard E. and Helen Pearl (Gouer) Jones. Surviving is Children, Scott Jones Brian Everson and Helen Everson whom Frances reared Four sisters, Leona Carpenter and husband Jr. of Belington Carol Haught and husband Bud of Moundsville Jackie Linger of Belington Betty Garber of Philippi Brothers, Richard Jones and Pam Eddie Jones and wife Lorinda both of Philippi Frances was preceded in death by sister JoAnn Jones. She worked as a seamstress at Reidboard’s in Philippi, also as a cashier for Ken’s Discount and Sheetz in Belington. Frances attended Wesleyan Holiness Church in Webster, she enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling throughout the United States. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday March 20, from 12-8 pm and on Wednesday March 21, from 8 am- 8 pm, and on Thursday March 22, from 8 am- 1 pm the service hour with Speaker Pam Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Hunt Memorial Cemetery.
