Lenwood was preceded in death by grandson, Chad Smith; sisters, Delores Pearl Bolyard and Patricia Nestor
Lenwood worked for Kimberly Coal Mines, King Knob Coal Company, Grafton Coal, and Kelso Coal Mines as a heavy equipment operator and miner. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed watching sports especially the WVU Mountaineer, Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Pirates. His family meant a lot to him and loved them very much. Lenwood was a member of the Central Chapel United Methodist Church, and had great love for Jesus.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday November 26, from 6-8 pm and on Saturday November 27, from 8 am- 2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm with Rev. Tammy Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Central Chapel Cemetery.
