Janet Marie (Wilfong) Depoy, age 73, a resident of Ohio, passed away Sunday April 24, 2022 at her residence. Janet was born April 6, 1949 in Alton, WV a daughter of the late George Henry and Hazel Mae (Tenney) Wilfong. Surviving is son, DeWayne Depoy and wife Kim of Philippi, granddaughter, Brooke Depoy of Philippi, sisters Lola Linger and husband Bob of Weston, Linda Loudin of Buckhannon, and several nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by sisters, Deborah Eileen Wilfong, Myrtle Ogden, Guylda Depoy, and brother, Henry Wilfong. Janet worked as a press operator for Moore Business Forms in Buckhannon, and was a Registered Nurse for Twin Valley Behavior Health Care in Columbus, OH. Janet also served in the National Guard. She loved her cats and helping other people, and shopping on QVC. In honor of Janet’s request cremation will be honored.
Family will received friends at Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday May 24, from 5-8 pm.







Janet was a very pleasant person. People liked Her at Moore Business Forms.

Worked with Janet when we were both employed at a hospital. Janet had a great personality and a strong work ethic. Loved her sense of humor. Can’t believes she’s gone. My condolences to her family.
