Thomas Rucker

Thomas "Tom" Rucker, 82, a resident of Buckhannon, passed peacefully away on May 19, 2023, after a long illness. Tom is survived by sister, Terry LeMarier; daughter's, Tawnya (Pat) Derico and April (Chuck) Fogle; grandchildren, Joshua (Kristan) Jett, Wesley (Deanna) Fogle, Anthony Jett, Harrison Richardson, Mattew Fogle; three great-grandchildren, one to arrive in June. Tom is preceded in death by Noble Rucker - father, Elsie Rucker - mother; Tamara Slack - sister Tom was best known for his love of the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a craftsman making knives. A true Mountaineer loving West Virginia. A private family service will be held. In lieu of gifts or flowers, the family asks that you would plant a tree as a memorial.
