Jerel Sue Duckworth, age 75, a resident of Philippi, passed away Wednesday May 31, 2023 in Broaddus Hospital. Jerel Sue was born October 20, 1947 in Akron, OH, a daughter of the late Jerel Austin and Florence (Bishop) Baker. Jerel Sue was united in marriage to Allen Junior Duckworth who preceded her in death December 22, 2016.
Surviving are children; Sheri Summerfield and husband Forrest of Moatsville, and Jeff Duckworth and wife Jennifer of Flat Top, WV; grandchildren, Travis Summerfield and wife Dannielle, Heather Summerfield, and Chesnee Summerfield, Chloe, Macie, and Kaden Duckworth, Domnick Ash and Kristen, Rhyleigh Arbogast, and Mark Arbogast; great grandchildren, Silas and Elleanore Summerfield, Wyatt and Domnick Ash; brothers, Conrad Baker of Cleveland, OH, and David Baker of San Antonio, TX; and her K-9 companion Harley.
Jerel Sue loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and on-site Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday June 3, from 12- 2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm. Interment will follow in the Clemtown Cemetery.

I loved Sue so many memories of her when she lived by my Aunt Katie and than of her and Jr and I loved her oldest daughter Dusti like family she was a good friend loved seeing her and Jr. at the resturants, RIP Sue!
