Tommy Ray Keeney

Tommy Ray Keeney, age 83 a resident of Philippi, passed away Friday November 17, 2023 at his residence.  Tom was born August 18, 1940 in Rainelle, WV.  Tom was united in marriage on March of 2015 to Janet Joann (Streets) Kenney who survives at home. Also surviving is children; Tommy Jr.; step-daughter Patty both of Summersville; step-children, Brenda Mayle and husband Irvin, Rex Haddix, and Danny Golden; brother; Bill Kenney; two grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, and five siblings.  Tom worked as an over the road Truck Driver.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1536 in Summersville, he enjoyed working on old cars and loved watching western movies. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and on-site Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday November 21, from 11am- 1 pm.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm with Speaker Irvin Mayle officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt.
