Donald Raymond Posman

Donald Raymond Posman, age 69, a resident of Flemington, passed away Saturday April 6, 2024 in the Rosewood Nursing Facility on Grafton, WV.
Donald was born August 28, 1954 to the late Marcia K. (Posman) Twonley and Robert Cyril Posman in Palmyra, NY.
Donald was united in marriage to Velma L. (Higgins) Posman, they shared their lives for over 30 years in New Hampshire before retiring to WV.
Donald served in the US Navy from 1972-1976 and was assigned to the USS Jonas Ingram.
He was very handy and liked doing construction and home improvements projects. Don enjoyed traveling, target shooting, playing poker, spending time with friends and family. He also enjoyed the occasional good bourbon.
He is survived by his loving wife, Velma; brother David Posman of Johnston, RI; sister Mona Hollenbeck of Wolfeboro, NH; nephew Christian Ahearn of Buffalo, NY and Mikel Higgins of Morgantown: niece Jeanelle Higgins of Flemington; goddaughter Samantha Imbeault of Gonic, NH; grandniece Zaniyah, grandnephew Josiah and Xavier and many close friends.
In following Donald’s request cremation will be honored.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Don in the hardware store for a very long time and he was always a great resource and inspiration. A very good salesperson offering exceptional customer service to everyone with their satisfaction always being his highest goal. He will be missed by all that knew him. My heart goes out to his forever love Velma, his family and friends.
