Cathy Marie Piercy, age 64, a resident of Philippi, passed away Monday April 7, 2025 in the United Hospital Center. Cathy was born March 19, 1961 in Fairmont, WV a daughter of the late Terry L. and Glenna (Whitecotton) Snider. Cathy was united in marriage on October 10, 1981 to Charles “Chuck” Piercy III.
Cathy was an avid reader, she enjoyed cooking and grilling out. Cathy adored her grandchildren.
Cathy is survived by her husband Charles “Chuck” Piercy III; children Charles “Chad” Piercy IV and wife Charity, Amanda C. Piercy, Dustin Ryan Piercy and Katelyn; grandchildren Hailey James Piercy, Oliver Ryan Piercy and Raylan Earl Piercy; siblings Terry Gorman and husband Steve, Debbie Rowan and husband John; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents Terry and Glenna Snider; siblings Arnold “Buck” Snider, Ike Snider, Dana Snider, and Ted Lee Snider.
