Orville Chapman, Jr. age 85, a resident of Moatsville, passed away Sunday June 29, 2025 at his residence. Orville was born May 7, 1940 in Emoryville, WV a son of Orville and Sally (Halderman) Chapman.
Orville is survived by his children Tammy Adams and husband Robert, and Randy Chapman; two grandchildren. brother Dorsey Chapman, and sister Shirley Moritz;
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and on-site Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday July 2, from 6-8 pm. A graveside service will be held on Thursday July 3, at 11 am in the Mt. Morris Cemetery with Pastor Jimmy Johnson officiating. Interment will follow.
