Barbara Ellen Brown, age 73, a resident Philippi passed away surrounded by her family on Monday August 27, 2018 at her residence. Barbara was born May 7, 1946 in Barbour Co. a daughter of the late Robert and Virginia (Boylen) Beattie. Barbara was united in marriage on May 4, 1963 to Eddie L. Brown who survives at home. Also surviving One daughter, Mendy Moats and husband Stephan of Arden Community Two sons, Lonny Brown and wife Lisa of Union Community Ronny Brown of Philippi Grandchildren, Stephan Moats II and Francesca Hinchman of Arden Community, Dillon Moats and wife Alison of Laurel Creek, Ty Moats of Arden Community, Billy Brown and Jenna Brown both of Union Community Great grandchildren, Easton Brown, Hudson Moats, and one expected great-grandchild Barbara was preceded in death by one sister, Sara Coontz. Barbara was a homemaker, she loved crocheting, making crafts, and especially loved animals. Barbara attended Mary’s Chapel Church. In honor of Barbara’s request, cremation will be honored.

  3. Mendy and Family- I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of “Bobbie”. She was the sweetest, dearest, and most beautiful souled person. I have so many great memories of her, as she always treated me like one of her own. My heart aches for you as you mourn this terrible loss.
