Betty Lucille Snider

Betty Lucille (Booth) Snider, age 89, a resident of Philippi, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020, in Talbott Personal Care Home in Belington. Betty was born March 25, 1931, in Barbour Co., the daughter of the late Porter and Lena (Ketchem) Booth. Betty was united in marriage to Roy Snider who preceded her in death. Surviving are- Sons, Tim Lantz and Matthew Snider and wife Tamara of Philippi; Dear friend, Kelli (Mick) Snider of Philippi whom Betty thought of like a daughter; Half-sisters, Joyce Ketchem of Philippi, Erma Holley of Buckhannon, and Judy Rives of Germantown, MD; Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by one son, Mike Lantz. Betty worked as a seamstress for Reidbord Brothers, and later volunteered at Heart and Hand. She enjoyed quilting and gardening. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 1pm at Barbour Memorial Cemetery.
