Carolyn Sue Robinson, age 76, a resident of Hanging Rock Rd. passed away Thursday April 5, 2018 in Mansfield Place of Broaddus Hospital. Carolyn was born May 16, 1941 in Moatsville, a daughter of the late Ira and Donna Dale (Ryan) Robinson. Surviving are-
Two daughters, Donna Sue Wright and husband Erwin of Jacobsburg, OH
Tammy Mayle and husband Joseph of Philippi
Brother, Roger Robinson of Boulder Community
Two grandchildren, Brandon and Chelsea Mayle both of Philippi
Carolyn was preceded in death by brothers, Otis “Bus” Robinson, Clifford “Kip” Robinson, and sisters, Agnes Merriman and Barbara Weaver.
Carolyn was a homemaker, she enjoyed attending Flea Markets, and traveling to Hilton Head, SC to enjoy the beach. Carolyn was a member of the Philippi Baptist Church.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Sunday April 8, from 9-3 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 pm with Pastor John Villers officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Donna and Tammy, My heart is breaking with the news of Caroyn’s Passing. But Chelsea said it right she is in heaven and I do believe she is with our Lord and Savior. I am so glad that God let our lives cross paths. I loved her She was sweet and kind. The first time we met, I knew we would be friends forever and we were. She was a strong woman and loved by many. You are in my prayers for comfort and strength She is at home and no longer in pain. We will see her again, we have God’s promise of that
