Guestbook

  1. Over 14 yrs ago ,Charmaine became my cancer angel . A mutual friend introduced us because I needed to hire someone to help around the house. From then on we connected through shared love of shihtzus and cooking. We went shopping some and out to eat less but I could always count on her. She was always the giver ,hated to accept favors ,and never really knew her worth . I’ll miss her .

  2. I wrote this when Charmaine reacted negatively when I turned the tables and did something for her ❤️

    Loneliness
    The minutes feel like hours
    The hours without end
    When you’re just waiting
For the message from a friend

You’ve no one close to hold you
    To dry those lonely tears
To tell you of their day
    Or to calm your fears

    And when someone ventures close
    You stay a bit apart
    Not trusting in their friendship
    You often guard your heart

You’re the giver and the helper
For you must be the one
    Who’s needed by the other
    When all is said done

For you don’t see the worth
    Of you just being you
    Loved for who you are
And not the things you do

Please know my friend ,I love you
    You’ll not push me away
    I’ll not be discouraged
By the things you do or say

I think of you quite often
You’re in my thoughts and prayers
If you look past my errors
You’ll see I’m one who cares

I’ve seen you break with others
    Before they broke from you
    Just because you feared
That’s what they meant to do

But don’t think that I’m staying
Out of pity ‘cause I’m not
I want to help you see
Your worth and what you’ve got

I see the things that you don’t
I know and love you too
    For your heart and spirit
Not just for what you do

So this friend , she ain’t leavin’
I guess you’re stuck with me
God put you in my life
That’s where you’re meant to be.

    I’ll miss you Charmaine ❤️

  3. Charmaine was a character. A hard worker and always had a smile and hug for me when I saw her after AB closed..

I am truly sorry for your loss 😔

  4. Charmaine was a precious friend and so loved by everyone who knew her. She was a caring person and always asked how we were doing. We worked at the polls on several elections. It was always a joy to work with her. She helped me at my home . Always ready with a hug every time we saw her.
    …………until we meet again, Charmaine

  5. I was so lucky to be able to be able to care for her for more than 15+ years. She was a wonderful lady, never without something to say. We hit it off right away, I guess since we are both so outspoken. I enjoyed her openness, her ability to overcome whatever life throws at you. I will truly miss her!
