Christina Faye Wentz

Christina Faye Wentz, age 54, a resident of Terrace Dr. Philippi passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 in Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born December 24, 1964 in Buckhannon a daughter of the late DeWayne F. and Edna M. (Lewis) Wentz. Surviving are- Three daughters, Ashley A. Wentz of Bruceton Mills Sara L. Frith and husband Frank Frith of Philippi Elizabeth T. Wentz of Buckhannon Two sisters, Anita M. Westfall and husband Robert of Buckhannon Sylvia L. Wentz of Philippi One brother, Kelvin D. Wentz of Philippi One grandson, Ryan L. Waugaman Ms. Wentz had worked as a CNA for Good Samaritan Center. She enjoyed having phone conversations, watching food network and game shows. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She attended Philippi Baptist Church. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday, February 7th from 5-8pm and on Friday, February 8th from 8am-1pm the service hour with Pastor Jon Villers officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Cemetery.

I'm so sorry she was one of a kind she always tryed her best and sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't But she always told me when some one died at the nursing home their in a better place. I'm glad she was able to look at it that. I know it dosnt help but that the way she looked at it so R.I.P Christine

  6. I loved her she was my cousin and I will miss her very much. She was a very kind hearted person who thought the world of her family and friends.

  7. I met Christina in Health Assistants class back in the 90's. She was a very kind and sweet lady. She often talked about her daughters and how proud she was of them. I enjoyed getting to know her. She had a smile for everyone she came in contact with. I will never forget her. My condolences to the family.
