Clona Mae Brown, 83, a resident of Belington, passed away Thursday September 4, 2025 in Autumn Lake Nursing Facility in Elkins. Clona was born February 19, 1942 in Pendleton, County a daughter of Ollie and Edith (Rexrode) Eye. Clona was united in marriage to Eddie Lee Brown.

Clona worked as a factory worker for Wampler Poultry Plant, she was also a homemaker. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. Clona and her husband owned and operated the Brandywine Motel and Restaurant for 10 years.

Clona is survived by her husband Eddie; children Rhonda Lynn Morris and husband Jeff, John Michael Crigler and wife Beth; granddaughter Megan Hiner and husband Jamie; great grandchildren Alyssa Bennett, Blayke Bennet; brother William Charles Crigler; special nephew Daniel Eye and wife Stephanie.

Clona was preceded in death by her parents Ollie and Edith Eye; daughter Tonya Lee Brown; sister Dorene Long; and brother Kenneth “Bud” Eye.

Clona’s request for cremation will be honored.
