Colleen Selan

February 15, 1952 ~ March 8, 2014

Colleen Lynn Selan, age 62 a resident of Mansfield Place of Broaddus Hospital and a former resident of Century #1 passed away at 1:05 am on Saturday March 8, 2014. She was born February 15, 1952 in Fairmont, WV a daughter of the late John Albert and Iris (Bullough) Selan. Surviving is Brother; Gregory W. Selan and wife Lynda of Century Nephews; Nick Selan and wife Teresa Fogus, Ben Selan and wife Jessy, Nat, and Elliott Selan Niece Meggie Selan Great niece; Imogen Fogus-Selan Colleen enjoyed listening to country music, watching TV, making art projects, spending countless hours swinging on the porch, and most of all enjoyed her family. She was a Methodist by Faith. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday March 12, from 6-8 pm and on Thursday March 13, from 8 am- 2 pm the service hour with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.

  4. So sorry for the loss of your love, My Momma was at the NH until Dec. 14th 2013, then she passed, i would always talk to pauline when we were in the dining room, and how she loved her doll baby Sarah, she was a very precious lady, God Bless all of u.

  5. A bright candle for all has flickered but did not go out.
    That candle now provides a beautiful light for those around her in heaven.
    Colleen loved life and those she knew, who also loved her. She will be missed by so many. All were blessed to have the light from the candle, which is Colleen shine on them
