Connie S. (Bennett) Wilson, age 78, a resident of Philippi, passed away Wednesday April 20, 2022 at her residence. Connie was born April 26, 1943, in Marlinton, WV a daughter of the late Woodrow D. Bennett and Marie (Currence) Hess. Connie was united in marriage on May 25, 1996 to Roland William Wilson who preceded her in death on May 21, 2020. Surviving is brother, David H. Bennett and wife Margarita of Philippi, and Danny Bennett and wife Carol. K-9 companion Teddy. Connie worked as a seamstress. In honor of Connie’s request cremation will be honored. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Thursday April 28, 2022 at the WV National Cemetery with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating.

I am so sad to hear of Connie’s passing. Connie was the most giving and caring of others then anyone else, I didn’t know Connie very long but she had a big impact on my life. I will never forget you Connie. God has saved the most beautiful wings just for you. A perfect fit for a beautiful lady. You will be missed.
I haven’t known Connie very long but I do know Connie was a beautiful woman inside and out. Her little Teddy was her life and she would bring him up to the window at the Hot Dog Hut to visit.She loved him so much.
I wish I could have known her longer, to me it was a joy to be around her. Connie you will be missed alot.
