David Alan Hall age 59 a resident of Arden Road, Philippi passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014 at his residence. He was born September 24, 1954 in Marion County a son of the late William Dale and Freda Violet (Smith) Hall. He was united in marriage to Mary Jo “Penny” (Plum) Hall who survives. Also surviving is, One daughter, Bethany Leigh Hall of Philippi Two brothers, William Hall, Jr. and wife Carol of Fairmont Ron Hall and wife Debbie of Oceanna, WV Mr. Hall was preceded in death by one sister, Susan Hall He was an unloader/stocker for Walmart in Clarksburg and also was a surveyor for Alleghany Power for 30 years. Mr. Hall graduated from East Fairmont High School in 1972, attended Cleveland Institute of Electronics for five years, and was a member of the busy bee band in high school. He attended Green Valley Church in Harrison Co. Friends will be received at the Wright 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 6-8 pm and on Sunday, April 6 from 8am-2 pm the service time with Rev. Shirley Webster and Mr. Johnny Woods officiating. Interment will follow in the Clemtown Cemetery.
