David Harold Findley

David Harold Findley, age 75, a resident of Philippi, passed away Tuesday May 14, 2024, in the United Hospital Center. David was born May 1, 1949, in Philippi, a son of the late Amon Findley Jr. and Rebecca Ann (Fitzwater) Findley. David was united in marriage to his loving wife Sharon Fontaine (Bohan) Findley who preceded in death February 4, 2023. David retired from Catalina Cylinders in Hampton, VA as a plate inspector. He enjoyed bowling, spending time with his children and grandchildren. David also enjoyed traveling with his wife on various trips. Surviving are children Rachelle Robinson and husband David of Philippi, David D. Findley and wife Robin of Perry, OH; daughter-in-law Nina Findley of LeRoy, OH; grandchildren Caitlin Findley and companion Matt Jones of Flemington, Deon’te Findley and wife Fran of South Carolina, Kailana Findley of LeRoy OH, DJ Sanzo of Perry, OH, Kayleigh Farrell and husband Cory of Thompson, OH; great grandchildren Hunter, Hannah, Halani, and Mahki. David was preceded in death by his parents Amon and Rebecca Findley; wife Sharon; and son James Edwin Findley. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
