Derek Matthew Wolfe, newborn son, died at birth on June 21, 2011 at United Hospital Center. Derek was the son of Larry Matthew and Rachelle Lynn (Shomo) Wolfe of Brownton, WV. He is survived by a sister, Madalynn R. Wolfe of Brownton, WV. Also surviving are Paternal Grandparents Larry Michael "Mike" and Ellen S. (Davis) Wolfe of Brownton, and Maternal Grandparents Butch Shomo of Belington, Joanne Shomo of Philippi, Kelli Ketchem Shomo and Jim Ganoe of Philippi, and Maternal Great Grandmother, Connie Weese of Belington, and Maternal Great Grandfather William "Bill" Ketchem of Philippi, and Maternal Great Grandmother Glenna Ketchem of Philippi, and several aunts and uncles.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday, June 28, from 1-2:00 pm with a graveside service to follow at Pitman Cemetery with Pastor Joe Delauder officiating.
