Donnie Kennedy

Donnie Rockford Kennedy, age 62, a resident of Moatsville, passed away Thursday May 14, 2015 at his residence. He was born March 20, 1953 in Barbour Co. a son of the late Arthur and Agnes (Mayle) Kennedy. He was united in marriage on October 7, 1978 to Karen S. (Crabtree) Kennedy who survives. Also surviving Two sons, Matthew R. Kennedy Kyle D. Kennedy and wife Laura both of Moatsville Sister, Deloris Mayle and husband Howard, of Canton, OH Four brothers, Deannie Kennedy Garold Kennedy Joseph “Stoney” Kennedy and wife Colletta Arthur Kennedy Jr. and wife Ada, all of Moatsville Grandchild, Michael Jacob Kennedy Mr. Kennedy was preceded in death by daughter, Cathy L. Kennedy and infant brother Eddie Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy worked as a security guard for the Barbour County Fairgrounds, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a protestant by faith. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday May 16, from 6-8 pm and on Sunday May 17, from 8 am- 2 pm the service hour with Rev. Wilbert Mayle officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Poke Cemetery.
